Elopements + Portraits
Maybe you’re getting married. Maybe you just want photos of yourselves at this time in your life.
Marriage
I believe that weddings are about people, not things. It is a privilege to be invited to be part of such an important event in your lives. It doesn't matter how many weddings I photograph, it is your only, and I hold that fact close to my heart.
Every couple and every wedding is different, especially in this post-2020 world. I create a custom collection for each client depending on your wants and needs for your wedding celebration.

Portraits
My approach is laidback, gently guided and fun. I create a safe space where you can feel free to be yourself and interact unscripted.
I focus on documenting relationships and connections. For me, it's all about the small moments and everyone's individual quirks.
Life is messy and no one is perfect, and that's ok. It's what makes us who we are, and what makes us unique.
Portrait sessions are available for couples, families, and individuals.
FAQ
Do I need a second photographer?
No, you don’t necessarily *need* a second photographer in most cases. I have feet and I am constantly moving around. I get all the angles :) The only instances in which I would suggest that you need a second photographer are 1) if your ceremony is in a place of worship or venue where the photographer cannot move during the ceremony, or 2) you’re doing portraits during cocktail hour but you want candids of your guests during cocktail hour as well.
Do you shoot film?
Yes! I shoot both medium format and 35mm film. For wedding days, I prefer to shoot 35mm film. I love shooting direct flash with black and white film indoors, or at night. I’m also a huge fan of portraits on Kodak Gold 200. It just has that nostalgic feel of growing up in the 90s for me.
I like the idea of candid photos, but what if we need more direction?
I focus on photojournalistic coverage and documenting wedding days as they naturally unfold. Creating safe spaces to capture genuine candid moments through gentle guidance instead of forced poses.
If you’re feeling super awkward and uncomfortable, then I’ll give a bit more guidance and little things to do to keep your mind off of being photographed. I never want you to feel uncomfortable. My goal during portrait time is to make you feel like a cozy, happy, purring cat with each other wherever you are.
Oh, the family formals. That’s the one time when I’m loud and direct. I get that ish done quick and painlessly. I’m so good at family formals that I was asked to shoot a photo line for President Biden (back when he was the V.P., but still. This is bragging rights.) I’m laid back and easy going. But I WILL tell your aunt to stop talking out of the side of her mouth during family formals and look at the camera.
